Ce sont les similitudes, les atmosphères et les petits détails qui ont frappé le photographe français Marc Thirouin, après 3 ans de voyages en Suède et en Norvège. En effet, des couleurs, des ambiances, des lieux qui nous rappellent le cinéma américain des années 50/60. Loin des a priori et d’une somme de clichés, le travail est minutieux et subtil car le photographe considère toujours cette série inachevée et au fil des recherches y ajoute des tirages.
That’s the similarities, the atmosphere and the small details that have catch French photographer Marc Thirouin after three years of travel in Sweden and Norway. Colors, moods, places that remind us of American cinema of the 50′s / 60′s. Far from a priori and clichés, his work is meticulous and subtle as the photographer still considers this unfinished series and complete it adding more and more photos.
